OPEN CALL: 01.1 Letters of No
Rejection hurts, but it can also be empowering. Between 2000 and 2007, French artist Julien Prévieux sent a thousand letters of demotivation to jobs he didn’t feel like doing, explaining the reasons for his refusals.There are at least a thousand things to be angry about – write someone or something a letter to tell them how you feel, but send it to us instead.
Email us your letters of rejection, demotivation, breakup, disgust, and everything else in between (textual and/or visual), by the 31st of March to [email protected].The open call is now closed. We aim to get back to everyone by the end of April.
01 Anger Issue
For the inaugural issue of Sleepy Press, we have invited contributions on the theme of anger. The 17 contributors to this issue speak to anger in its many different facets: repressed anger, expressed anger, explosive anger, surrendered anger. We invite you to join us in our journey to reclaim anger, alone and en masse.
